this is origami crane i made for grandma. unfortunately i didn't have enough time to fold 1000... i gave her a red sweater too. both red colour and origami crane symbolize longevity. and i read a Japanese poem for her. it's called ''Ame ni mo makezu'' from Kenji Miyazawa. scrapbook.ameba.jp/englishblog_book/entry-10008257580.html i don't know if the translation is correct... i read it in Japanese and in German ;-)
