I finally finished the scales, whew. Now on tail, spikes, head and final shaping!

Wow, the precreasing really accelerates the foldign of the base. by the way: do you have 2 overlaping units at the end points of the scales?

2 units (if 1 unit = 1/96th of side) overlap with everything still pleated, but if it's all straightened out 5 units overlap, that's what you had right? what i did was pull out some loose paper from the tiny pleats on one side then inserted them in the other.

Amazing! btw, i wouldn't shape the scales. although it looks better, it will probably look messy because they are so small.

Do you need to fold part of the neck inwards when collapsing the top horn? there doesn't seem to be any way to flatten it otherwise...
