Tree-A-Week #3 23/2/2012 Foldable The process of creating the tree had some problems, the step-by-step on 1 website didn't specify properly on what to do or a video that explains more in depth. Other sites were okay but very hard to understand or just too simple to create a tree and people would not recognize it as a tree. I took about 1 hour to create the previous ones but it shaped more like a pyramid, then finally came down to two of them. 1 was on Youtube which is a Christmas tree modular and a origami site. It took another hour but the whole process was to fold and cut the paper to correct size, with the use of origami paper and cardboard paper. It can stand up by itself without any adhesive material to make it stand still due to the strong crease and the base providing support of the tree. The lighting I used was a table lamp with a brownish black wall to create a night feel, but the size is about 8cm high. Found that the cardboard is more easier to fold and stronger The background was just cotton wool, because of the christmas tree and what a better way to interperate the theme of foldable tree.
