I would recommend picking up a couple air locks, you can get them on amazon for about 8.00 a set. one it will keep the pressure down so you don't blow juice/wine? over everything and it works as a one way system so it keeps the air out. now get to makin' that homemade hooch!

Great post...you know, i made my first batch of wine out of blackberries, sugar and yeast...and then i got drunk....lol....guess my grandfather's art of moonshining kinda passed itself down?...i used a plastic coffee container...lol....but? this seems interesting..will try soon!!!

Hey you did almost everything perfect, but before you add the yeast you should had measured 1/4 of a cup of just slightly? warm water and put your yeast in and let it sit for about 10-15 minutes, then add it to the juice

What about an airlock>? they are cheap on craigslist.2? or 3 bucks. what about the yeast? you will have heat it to activate it right?
