The rectangle units are about 3.5 x 5cm i think. cant remember but its not exact to that either. its just 1/32 of an a4 paper as shown in '3d origami for beginners'. you? can use any rectangle size

I use regular printer paper too. i dont glue them, as shown in the vid, they easily stay together by themselves. you just need to find paper with good grip that stays together,? otherwise if you cant, just glue them
