The term ''renzuru'' refers to an origami technique wherein one sheet of origami--through a mosaic of strategic cuts--becomes several origami figures, like cranes, still attached to one another. The task requires patience and faith that the crumbled mess in your hands will at some point resemble cranes instead of an expensive wad of paper. These renzuru cranes are made of Japanese origami and hang from repurposed gold-plated chains and vintage Czech glass crystal beads with a hint of peach color. Ear wires are vintage brass and obsessively cleaned (!). These earrings are bound to catch attention and are perfect for an evening out.
