Here are some sites that i know
http://www.opane.com/luckystar.html
http://www.geocities.com/mmukhopadhyay/creation/star.html
http://carriephlyons.deviantart.com/art/Origami-Lucky-Star-TUTORIAL-52426607 i think that the last one is the most detailed it also says that you should start out with paper that is 11 inches long and 1/2 inch thick hope this helps!

The size of the paper is not really an issue. This problem occurs when you don't have enough layers on the star. So basically, do a few more layers on the star, but not too thick (around the thickness of 3mm?). when the layers form a decent thickness, you can re-try the "puffing stage" Hope it works~

Don't worry... this happens to everyone. I found that you can't make the folds too tight or play with the paper too much or else the star collapses. Try undoing the star and make the folds go the other way... a little bit looser. You can also try sticking a toothpick in one of the ends to push out the indentation sometimes.
