Question: Our tree theme for this year is origami and.......?

I cant seem to find a pickle origami pattern my family has a tradition of hiding a pickle for the kids to find on christmas for a secret special present. anyway im looking for an origami pickle pattern to make it harder to find the real pickle plz help i think its germany or hungry. one of the european countries like that.

By the way, that is the coolest idea ever. you can just kind of get a rectangularish green piece of paper, and it doesn't seem hard to make one up

OK- pickle= green cylinder, Or there is a classic origami Ball or balloon shape that is in most basic origami books. After you make the ball and blow it up, you can gently distort it into a pickle shape. Or, think of the pickle as 2 "canoes" that are joined at the tips I recall reading a novel where they hid a pickle, but I do not recall which country used that tradition. If you update your question, could you tell us?

I did an origami tree 3 years ago... Green paper, it's the only thing I can think of...
