How much should I charge for my crafts?

Question: How much should I charge for my crafts?

How much should I charge for my paper crafts? So far I am making little origami stars, boxes, and flowers. I was wondering how much I should charge for them. Here is a picture of the flowers: http://i599.photobucket.com/albums/tt77/koolkat27/110124-083923.jpg And here is a picture of the stars and boxes: http://i599.photobucket.com/albums/tt77/koolkat27/110205-141504.jpg So 1 flower is 4" high and 4" wide, and takes about an hour to make. I was thinking of charging $5-$10 for one flower, I was wondering if you would buy it for that much and what price do you think I should charge for it? And how much should I charge for 10 stars and 1 box, the stars are a little bigger than a thumbnail and the box fits about 7 stars inside it? Also I was going to enter a 2 day craft show but the fee is $160 do you think I will many any profit off of it?

Last question first!! have a huge stock of whatever it is you wish to sell. I had one girl at a festival I was managing who had 50 hand felted saddle blankets. She sold out in the first 4 hours and went home with a huge load of orders. She appologized to me when asking if she could leave early. I thought since she was a college student and had traveled over 150 miles to be in our show, she needed to go home and get ready for the next week since she would only be sitting there with nothing to do. So take plenty of stock, take supplies both to sell and instructions, and lots to make as you are sitting there. No one buys from idle clerks!! and you might also charge a minimum for lessons on the spot? Have kits ready to teach with. Now, those little guys might sell for what you are wishing or not. If you don't price things high enough, public thinks you don't value your talents enough. so always price so you can have a "sale"!

Charge more than it cost to make them but try and keep it as cheap as possible. Make sure you are not beaten for price by other factory made things. I say for you work ( 10 stars+1 box) you should charge something like 45p. You should try doing 100 stars and 1 box. Starting up an online store would be a great promotional idea. Use something like Etsy (not as good as the rest), Ecrater or Doomby. I have a website on doomby but it isn't a store. I'm 11 and I have two friends helping me run it so you should see how easy it is. www.a-closerlook.doomby.com
