Designed by Miyamoto Chuya in 2008. Folded from one uncut square of blue-gray lokta backed with pink unryu, 41x41cm. Model is 20cm long. A bit large for a sparrow :/

Thanks, all. i'm not totally satisfied with this fold. the paper got wrinkly during folding. :( also, in terms of the design, i don't think the pleats on the wings are necessary. java finches are actually very smooth-looking: [http://www.flickr.com/photos/52646973@n07] it does have a color change eye, but i didn't do it because i didn't want it to have a pink eye. if only i could find paper with three sides...
