Is this the same crow you taught at tanteidan? i so wanted to take that class, i wish i would have....love your work.
Chosetec [15-May-2013]
Yes, but unfortunately i ran out of time. to make up for that, i am diagramming it now.

A small question for the designer: in the last origami tanteidan magazine there appears a photo of your crow which seems to have a tongue. in the cp it seems that the only way to get a tongue without completely altering the structure is to turn the central small fish base into a small bird base and then convert the tiny central 90 deg. flap into a tongue... is it right? does the model have a true tongue, or is it just an optical effect of the photo? it gives the photo a great realistic touch. thanks for publishing the diagrams, brian. josé ignacio royo prieto - bilbao, spain.
Chosetec [13-May-2013]
Jose, you are right, for there to be a tongue, you just turn the fish base into a bird base.
Chosetec [12-May-2013]
Wait, no, that's not how i did it, but you should still try. i looked at both of my crows and saw that the 'tongue' is an illusion from the way i fold the lower jaw. however, the method you describe is how i folded the tongue for ''rhamphorynchus''
